ArchChat Terms of Use
Last updated: October 13, 2026 (version 26.1)
1. What is ArchChat
ArchChat is an instant messaging application — text, photos, audio, video, files, location, stickers, GIFs, stories, voice and video calls — with groups organized into channels and customizable roles. It also offers extra tools inside groups (forms, raffle cards, team management), an SOS button, professional profiles and a Marketplace for listings and job posts.
By using ArchChat, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Account and minimum age
You need to create an account (username, password and email) to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens on your account.
ArchChat is not intended for children under 13. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ArchChat to:
- Send spam, scams or misleading content;
- Harass, threaten or intimidate other people;
- Send sexual content involving minors, or any illegal content;
- Impersonate another person or organization;
- Try to access other people's accounts or data without authorization;
- Share another person's location or data without their consent.
4. Marketplace, jobs and professional profiles
- Listings, job posts and professional profiles are public inside the app and are the responsibility of whoever publishes them.
- ArchChat does not mediate purchases, sales, hiring or payments — it only shows the listing and connects people through chat. Negotiations happen directly between users.
- Listing illegal, counterfeit or dangerous products or services, or misleading job posts, is forbidden. Such listings may be removed without notice.
5. SOS
SOS sends a message and your location to the emergency contacts you registered in the app. It does not replace official emergency services and depends on internet, battery and location permission being enabled. If you are in danger, also call your local emergency number.
6. Reports and moderation
You can report a message or a person at any time ("Report" button, on anyone's profile or by selecting a message in a chat). Reports are reviewed manually.
You can also block anyone at any time — whoever blocks stops receiving their messages, and the blocked person is not notified.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Your data
- Messages, media and files are stored on the server to keep history and sync across sessions, until they are deleted.
- Disappearing messages: when enabled in a chat, messages are removed from the server automatically after the configured time.
- We do not sell your data to anyone. There are no ads in ArchChat.
- We make automatic backups (14-day retention) so nothing is lost in case of technical failure.
- You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Delete account.
Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
8. Pix key, plans and coins
ArchChat has a shortcut to save your own Pix key and share it as a text message in a chat. It does not process any payment — the transaction happens outside the app, at your bank.
Plans, coins and cosmetic items in the app are, in this version, a free simulation: they involve no real money and have no value outside the app.
9. App under active development
ArchChat is under continuous development — new features arrive often, and bugs may happen. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a total absence of errors.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Relevant changes will be announced inside the app, and the date at the top of this page will be updated.
11. Contact
Questions about these Terms or your data: use the contact email shown on the app's Google Play page.
